Charlotte Benz - Artist, Cat Lover, Joy Bringer 🐾


Hello, I’m Charlotte - the artist behind Feline Sublime.


And if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I absolutely adore cats.

I’ve been fascinated by them for as long as I can remember. Their characters, their independence, their curious little quirks, their beauty and that magical way they can somehow know exactly when we need them.


For me, cats have never simply been pets.

They are companions, characters, muses, comforters, mini comedians and, sometimes, the most profound souls who enter our lives.


And that’s what I love to celebrate through my paintings.


Cats, colour & a little bit of magic

I create colourful, expressive, hand-painted artwork inspired by the wonderful world of cats.


My paintings are intentionally vibrant, playful and full of personality. I want you to look at one and smile. I want you to notice a mischievous expression, fall in love with sparkling eyes, discover a tiny detail or simply feel a little bit brighter because you’ve spent a few moments in my colourful feline world.



Because I believe art can change the feeling of a space and the feeling of the person looking at it.


That may be joy. It may be comfort. It may be a sense of connection. It may remind you of a cat you have loved, make you laugh at a familiar feline personality, or simply bring a little more colour and happiness into your day.


Every painting has a story

My own cats have been a huge part of my artistic journey.


My childhood soulmate Smartie was one of the first cats to show me just how extraordinary that bond can be. And over the years, my feline companions have continued to inspire me - from the mischievous and hilarious to the deeply soulful.


Some paintings are pure celebration.


Some tell a story.


And some come from a much more tender place - particularly the pieces I’ve created in memory of cats who have passed away.


My painting Sakura Blue, for example, was created as a tribute to my beloved Sakura. That piece reminds me just how powerful it can be to turn love and memories into something beautiful that can be cherished.

Why Feline Sublime?

Because I wanted to create a place where cats, art, colour and joy could all live together.


A place for the person who looks at a cat and sees a whole personality.


A place for the person who has photographs of their cat all over their phone.


A place for the person who knows that losing a cat can break your heart.


A place for the person who would happily rearrange the furniture around the cat.


And a place for anyone who simply wants something beautiful, joyful and a little bit magical on their wall.

Every original Feline Sublime painting is hand-painted by me, Charlotte Benz, in Wales.


From the first mark to the final detail, it is created by hand with enormous love and a rather ridiculous amount of cat appreciation.


And whether you choose an original painting, a fine art print, a card or a completely bespoke portrait of your own beloved cat, I hope it brings something wonderful into your world.
